SEW Eurodrive · MCBSM
This fault indicates that the inverter has not been correctly started up or an unknown/incorrect motor type has been selected. Without proper initialization and motor parameterization, the inverter cannot operate the drive effectively or safely. It prevents the system from entering an operational state.
Click steps to track your progress.
Perform a motor auto-tuning procedure (e.g., P0-15 = 1) ensuring the motor is disconnected from mechanical load if required by the inverter model.
Verify all motor nameplate parameters (voltage, current, frequency, RPM, power factor) are accurately entered into the corresponding inverter parameters (e.g., P0-10 to P0-13).
Execute a parameter save command (e.g., P0-01 = 1) after any changes to ensure settings are stored in non-volatile memory.
Reset the inverter to factory default settings (e.g., P0-00 = 1) and then re-enter only the essential motor and application-specific parameters.
Temporarily connect a known good motor to the inverter and attempt a basic run command to rule out the original motor as the primary issue.
