SEW Eurodrive · MOVIFIT SC
This fault indicates that the combined output current from both drive 1 and drive 2 has exceeded 180% of the unit's nominal current (IN,unit). This represents a severe overload condition, potentially leading to immediate shutdown to protect the power electronics and prevent damage to the MOVIFIT unit. It can be caused by excessive mechanical load or by simultaneously enabling both drives when their combined current draw exceeds the unit's capacity. Unresolved, this can lead to premature failure of the drive unit.

Measure the actual current draw from both drive 1 (U1/V1/W1) and drive 2 (U2/V2/W2) outputs using a clamp meter under operational conditions.
Compare the combined measured current to the MOVIFIT unit's nominal current (IN,unit, typically found on the nameplate or in parameter P0-01).
Reduce the mechanical load on the motors or adjust the process to decrease the peak or continuous current demands.
Verify motor winding integrity and cable insulation resistance for both motors using a megohmmeter (e.g., 500VDC).
Review and optimize acceleration/deceleration ramps (e.g., P320/P321 for drive 1, P330/P331 for drive 2) to reduce peak currents during transients.
