SEW Eurodrive · MOVIFIT SC
This fault signifies that the measured output current for either drive 1 or drive 2 is less than 2% of the unit's nominal current (IN,unit/device) when the respective drive is enabled. This strongly suggests an open circuit in the motor circuit, such as a disconnected or broken motor cable, a faulty motor winding, or an issue with the drive's output stage itself. This condition prevents motor operation and could indicate significant wiring or motor damage, posing a risk of component failure if the unit attempts to drive into an open circuit.

Measure the resistance of each motor winding (U-V, V-W, W-U) using a multimeter and compare to specified values (e.g., from motor nameplate or manual).
Verify continuity of each motor phase cable (U, V, W) from the MOVIFIT output terminals to the motor terminal block using a multimeter.
Inspect and tighten all connections at the MOVIFIT output terminals (U1/V1/W1 or U2/V2/W2) and the motor terminal block.
Ensure a motor is actually connected and correctly wired to the drive output before enabling the drive.
Check drive parameters related to minimum current detection thresholds (if adjustable, e.g., P303 for min current threshold) to ensure they are appropriate.
