SEW Eurodrive · MOVIMOT® MM..D with AC Motor DT/DV / Operating Instruc
This fault indicates that the motor has experienced a thermal overload, meaning its operating temperature has exceeded safe limits. This can occur due to excessive load, inadequate cooling, or incorrect motor protection settings, posing a risk of motor winding damage.
Click steps to track your progress.
If the MOVIMOT inverter is installed close to the motor, set DIP switch S1/5 to 'ON'.
For 'MOVIMOT and motor with one lower power rating' combinations, check the setting of DIP switch S1/6.
Lower the ambient temperature surrounding the motor and prevent heat build-up by ensuring adequate ventilation.
Reduce the mechanical load on the motor or increase its operating speed.
Check the combination of the drive and MOVIMOT inverter if the fault is signaled shortly after the first enable.
If the TH winding thermostat (with extra function 5) has tripped, reduce the load on the motor.
