F07

DC link overvoltage

SEW Eurodrive · MOVITRAC 07B System

What does F07 mean?

An immediate switch-off with inhibit occurs when the DC link voltage is excessively high. This often results from too much regenerative power, issues with the braking resistor circuit (supply cable or resistance value), or a ground fault.

Common Causes

  • DC link voltage too high
  • Excessive regenerative power
  • Issue with braking resistor circuit (supply cable or resistance value)
  • Ground fault

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Extend deceleration ramps to reduce regenerative power

  2. 2

Check the supply cable to the braking resistor for continuity

  3. 3

Check the technical data of the braking resistor to ensure correct value

  4. 4

    Eliminate any ground fault detected
