The motor speed has exceeded the configured Safe Limited Speed (SLS) threshold, either upon entering SLS or exceeding its tolerance. This triggers a controlled deceleration (SS1), followed by a Safe Torque Off (STO) and a drive fault, indicating a potential safety violation due to excessive speed that could lead to injury or damage.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Read the actual motor speed (r0063 or equivalent) and compare it to the configured SLS speed limit (P0951) when the SLS function is active.
2. Verify the configuration of the SLS speed threshold (P0951) and adjust it appropriately to allow for safe operation while respecting the limit.
3. Inspect the motor encoder connections (e.g., X104, X105 terminals) for damage or loose wiring, and verify encoder signal integrity using an oscilloscope.
4. Increase the deceleration ramp time (e.g., P1121) to allow for a smoother transition into the SLS speed range, preventing overshoot.
5. Check parameter P0952 (SLS tolerance window) and ensure it is adequately set to account for minor speed fluctuations without triggering the warning.
