An inconsistency has been detected in the EEPROM data, particularly related to safety parameters. This means the critical safety configuration was not written correctly to persistent memory, which can compromise the drive's safety functions and prevent safe operation, potentially leading to unsafe machine behavior.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Power cycle the drive and check if the fault clears; sometimes a single power-down/up cycle can resolve transient memory issues.
2. Perform a safety acknowledgement by setting P0010=0, then P0970=1. Re-commission safety parameters if necessary (P0010=95).
3. Update the drive's firmware to the latest version, specifically checking for updates related to safety functions and memory management.
4. Backup parameters, perform a factory reset (P0010=30, P0970=1), and then reload a known good safety-parameterized configuration.
5. Re-commission all safety functions from scratch in STARTER/TIA Portal, ensuring each step is completed without interruption or power cycling.
6. If the fault persists, replace the control unit (e.g., CU320-2 PN) as the EEPROM or related memory hardware may be defective.
