This fault signals an error during safety parameterization, which can happen during startup, commissioning, or a safety reset. It's often related to checksum mismatches, internal parameter transfer failures, buffer finalization issues, or problems saving data to EEPROM. It can also indicate communication channel problems between processors, pointing to a drive's safety configuration integrity issue.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Verify the drive's current safety parameter checksum (e.g., r9799.0) against the expected value from the commissioning software.
2. Perform a safety acknowledgment (e.g., via P1002=1) and re-transfer all safety parameters from the engineering tool.
3. Check the status of parameter P9500 (Safety commissioning status) for any active sub-faults providing more specific information.
4. Execute a full safety parameter reset to factory defaults (e.g., P9501=1) and then recommission the safety functions.
5. Measure the 24VDC internal control supply voltage at the safety I/O terminals to ensure stable power delivery.
