Siemens · SINAMICS G120
This fault occurs when the drive rejects a write request for one or more safety parameters, often due to problems finalizing parameters, an incorrect safety password, or an insufficient tolerance setting (p9691/p9891 too small). The drive may revert to previous settings, indicating an issue with security or parameter validation within the safety configuration.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Enter the correct safety password (e.g., P9900) and ensure the drive is in a safe commissioning state (e.g., P9500=0 or appropriate mode).
2. Verify the drive's operational mode (e.g., r0002) is not preventing parameter writes; typically, the drive must be stopped.
3. Attempt to write the parameter again, ensuring no other communication or safety functions are active simultaneously.
4. Check for other active safety faults (e.g., F01650, F01651) that might be blocking parameter modifications.
5. Perform a safety function acknowledgment (e.g., via P1002) if required, and then attempt the parameter change again.
