A fault was detected during the inverter's power-up sequence, preventing it from starting correctly. This could be a hardware issue or a configuration problem encountered during initialization, which needs to be resolved for the drive to become operational.
Click steps to track your progress.
Measure input line voltages (L1-L2, L2-L3, L3-L1) at the inverter's main power terminals (e.g., U, V, W) to confirm nominal supply (e.g., 400VAC).
Disconnect all external control wiring (e.g., X1 terminals) and communication cables (e.g., Profinet) from the inverter, then re-power to isolate external influences.
Perform a parameter reset to factory defaults (set P0010=30, then P0970=1) via the Basic Operator Panel (BOP) or engineering software.
Observe diagnostic LEDs (e.g., SF, RDY, LINK) on the inverter control unit for specific power-up sequence indications.
If fault persists, test with a known good control unit or power module if interchangeable, or prepare for complete inverter unit replacement.
