Vacon · 100 FLOW Application Guide
In a Multipump system, one or more pump running time counters have exceeded a user-specified alarm or fault limit. This indicates that a pump has reached its programmed maintenance interval or has been operating for an excessively long period without intervention. Timely maintenance prevents wear and premature failure.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Retrieve the current run-time counter value for the affected pump (e.g., P7-11) and compare it to the set limit (e.g., P7-10).
2. Review the pump sequencing parameters and rotation strategy (e.g., P7-05, P7-06) to ensure balanced operation across all pumps.
3. Evaluate if the run-time limit parameter (e.g., P7-10) is appropriate for the pump type, application, and planned maintenance schedule.
4. If maintenance has been performed, manually reset the pump's run-time counter (e.g., P7-11 set to 0) as per the system's maintenance procedure.
5. Monitor the pump's operational status and command signals (e.g., digital output to contactor) to verify it is running only when required by the system.
