Vacon · 100 FLOW Application Guide
A power unit or option board (in slot C, D, or E) has been replaced with a new one of a *different type* than previously used in that position. This means saved parameters for the old device are not compatible or available for the new hardware, requiring reconfiguration. Improper configuration can lead to operational errors.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Verify the part number and type of the device installed in slot C, D, or E against the original bill of materials or system documentation.
2. If the device was intentionally changed, access parameter P2.1.1 (Slot C type), P2.2.1 (Slot D type), or P2.3.1 (Slot E type) and set it to match the newly installed device type.
3. Power cycle the drive after parameter adjustment and confirm the fault clears; then reconfigure any device-specific parameters for the new hardware.
4. If the device was incorrectly replaced, power down the drive, remove the device from slot C, D, or E, and install the correct replacement part.
