Vacon · 100 FLOW Application Guide
A new power unit or option board (in slot C, D, or E) of a *different type* has been added or detected in the drive. Similar to 'Device changed (different type),' this means parameters for the new device are not saved or compatible, requiring initial configuration. Without proper setup, the added device will not function correctly.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Identify the newly added option board or power unit in slot C, D, or E and confirm its exact part number and intended function.
2. Access parameter P2.1.1 (Slot C type), P2.2.1 (Slot D type), or P2.3.1 (Slot E type) and set it to the correct type for the installed device.
3. Power cycle the drive after parameter adjustment and confirm the fault clears; then proceed with configuring the device-specific parameters.
4. If the device was added unintentionally or is incorrect for the application, power down the drive and remove it from slot C, D, or E.
