Vacon · 100 FLOW Application Guide
The voltage of the Real Time Clock (RTC) battery is low, indicating it needs replacement. A low RTC battery can lead to loss of time and date settings upon power cycle, affecting data logging and time-dependent functions.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Order the specified replacement RTC battery (e.g., CR2032 or specific module) from the drive manufacturer or authorized distributor.
2. Power down the drive completely and disconnect all power sources (mains and control power) following lockout/tagout procedures.
3. Locate the RTC battery on the control board (refer to the drive's hardware manual for the exact position).
4. Carefully remove the old battery, noting its polarity, and install the new battery with the correct orientation.
5. Restore power, then navigate to the RTC settings (e.g., P1.1.20 for date, P1.1.21 for time) and set the correct time and date.
