Temperature fault

Vacon · 20 Compact

What does 111 mean?

This fault indicates that an over low or over high temperature condition has been detected by the OPTBH option board's temperature inputs. It means a monitored temperature has exceeded its defined threshold, as set by parameters P13.26 and P13.27.

Common Causes

  • General internal system fault within the drive.
  • Unspecified error in the drive's internal processing.
  • Power supply module failure.
  • Main control board fault.
  • Component failure not covered by specific fault codes.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the temperature signal originating from the OPTBH option board's inputs (Temperature input 1, 2, or 3).

  2. 2

Verify the binary-coded selection of temperature inputs used for triggering (Parameter P13.25).

  3. 3

Review Parameter P13.26 to ensure the correct temperature fault mode (Low limit or High limit) is selected.

  4. 4

Check Parameter P13.27 to confirm the temperature fault threshold is set appropriately for the application.
