Over Temperature

What does 56 mean?

The drive has detected that a monitored temperature has exceeded its programmed limit. Possible causes include a disconnected temperature sensor, a short circuit in the sensor wiring, or an actual excessive temperature rise in the equipment.

Common Causes

  • Internal component overheating within the device (e.g., heatsink temperature).
  • Cooling fan failure or obstruction.
  • Ambient temperature too high for operation.
  • Overload condition causing excessive heat generation.
  • Faulty temperature sensor (e.g., P7-01).
