Emergency Stop Command

What does 63 mean?

An emergency stop command has been received either through a digital input or via the fieldbus network. This safety mechanism instantly halts the drive and requires a system reset before further operation is permitted.

Common Causes

  • Emergency stop button pressed or circuit activated.
  • External emergency stop signal received.
  • Internal emergency stop logic triggered by safety conditions.
  • Software emergency stop command issued.
  • Wiring fault in the emergency stop circuit.
