Keypad communication fault

What does 52 mean?

Communication between the control panel (or NCDrive software) and the drive has failed. This is usually due to a defective physical connection or cable. Loss of keypad communication means the drive cannot be monitored or controlled locally via the control panel.

• Loose or damaged communication cable between the drive and the control panel (e.g., RJ45 or specific serial cable).
• Faulty control panel (keypad) unit, preventing it from establishing communication.
• Drive's communication interface port damage (e.g., internal connector pins bent).
• Incorrect communication parameters set in the drive (e.g., P1-01 (Communication Address), P1-02 (Baud Rate)) conflicting with the keypad.
• Electromagnetic interference disrupting the serial communication link.
