What does 53 mean?

The data connection between the fieldbus master and the drive's fieldbus option board is defective, leading to a loss of communication. This prevents the drive from being controlled or monitored via the fieldbus network, disrupting integrated system operations. An incorrect installation or a faulty fieldbus master are common causes.

• Broken or incorrectly terminated fieldbus cable (e.g., Profibus DP, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP) between the drive and the master PLC.
• Incorrect fieldbus address or baud rate settings in the drive (e.g., P7-20 (Fieldbus address), P7-21 (Baud rate)) or the master device.
• Faulty fieldbus option board in the drive, preventing proper data exchange.
• Fieldbus master (PLC) communication module failure or incorrect configuration.
• Excessive network traffic, electrical noise, or ground loop issues on the fieldbus network.
