A defective option board or a faulty slot within the drive has been detected. This indicates a hardware failure preventing the option board from functioning correctly or being recognized by the drive. This fault will impact any functionality associated with the affected option board.
Click steps to track your progress.
Power down the drive and verify zero voltage on DC bus terminals.
Carefully remove the option board from the indicated slot.
Inspect the option board's connector pins for damage, dirt, or corrosion. Clean contacts with appropriate electronic cleaner.
Re-insert the option board firmly and securely into its slot, ensuring retaining clips are engaged.
If the fault persists, try moving the option board to a different, empty slot (if available and compatible).
If the fault follows the board, replace the option board. If the fault remains with the slot even with a known good board, the drive's main control board may be faulty.
