An emergency stop signal has been received from an option board, causing the drive to immediately halt operation. This is a critical safety interlock feature. The drive will remain stopped and will not accept new run commands until the emergency stop condition is cleared and the integrity of the safety circuit is verified.

Verify the state of all external emergency stop buttons and safety interlocks (e.g., door switches) in the machine, ensuring none are active.
Measure the voltage/continuity at the drive's safety input terminals (e.g., S1, S2, STO) against the drive's safety common, confirming the correct state (e.g., 24VDC present).
Inspect the wiring from the external safety circuit to the drive's safety input terminals for damage, loose connections, or incorrect termination.
Check the drive's safety configuration parameters (e.g., P3-01, P3-02 for Safe Torque Off) to ensure they match the physical wiring and intended safety logic.
Temporarily bypass external safety inputs (if permissible and safe for testing, following Lockout/Tagout procedures) to isolate if the fault is external or internal to the drive.
