This fault signifies an overvoltage condition detected on the load (motor) side during power-up. While related to input overvoltage, this advanced code might point to an issue specific to the motor connection or residual voltage on the motor leads. High voltage can damage the motor insulation or the drive's output stage.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Measure the incoming AC line voltage at the drive input terminals (L1, L2, L3) to confirm it is within the specified operating range (e.g., 400V +/-10%).
2. Verify if the motor is rotating or has kinetic energy (back-EMF) when the drive attempts to power up; allow the motor to come to a complete stop.
3. If motor cable length exceeds recommended limits (e.g., >100m), consider installing an output du/dt filter or sinusoidal filter.
4. Check parameter P0-13 (DC Overvoltage Limit) if adjustable, ensuring it is set appropriately for the system voltage and does not trip prematurely.
5. Implement a pre-charge sequence if available, to slowly charge the DC link capacitors before full power application.
6. Replace the drive unit if all external factors are ruled out and the internal voltage sensing is suspected.
