Terminal Board Not Connected

Yaskawa · Drive Fault Codes

What does CPF25 mean?

The drive has detected that a required terminal board is not physically connected or properly recognized. This prevents the use of external control and feedback signals, making external control of the drive impossible.

Common Causes

  • The terminal board is physically disconnected from the main drive unit's designated slot
  • Improper seating of the terminal board's connectors, leading to poor electrical contact
  • Damage to the terminal board or its communication interface preventing detection.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Power down the drive and verify that the terminal board is correctly and firmly seated in its designated slot.

  2. 2

Inspect the connectors on both the drive and the terminal board for damage or bent pins.

  3. 3

Ensure any latching mechanisms for the terminal board are securely engaged to prevent loosening.
