Yaskawa · E7 Drive
An internal RAM fault was detected within the ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) of the drive. This is a critical internal hardware failure, indicating control circuit damage and rendering the drive inoperable.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Cycle power to the drive completely, ensuring a full discharge, then reapply power.
2. Monitor the ambient operating temperature to ensure it remains within the drive's specified limits (e.g., below 50°C).
3. Verify the integrity of all internal ribbon cable connections on the control board (if accessible) for secure seating.
4. Check for visual signs of damage on the control board, such as burnt components or swollen capacitors.
5. If the fault persists, replacement of the control board is necessary as the ASIC is a core, integrated component.
