This fault can be caused by an option card connector connection fault or an option card A/D converter fault. It indicates an issue with the option board's hardware or its connection, preventing proper functionality and communication.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Power down the drive, remove the option card, inspect its connector for damage, clean contacts, and re-seat it firmly.
2. Check for physical damage to the option card itself, such as bent pins or visible component defects.
3. If multiple option slots exist, try inserting the option card into a different slot (if applicable and compatible).
4. Verify that the option card is compatible with the drive model and firmware version (consult the manual).
5. If possible, test the option card in another drive or try a known-good option card in the faulty drive.
6. If the fault persists and the card is confirmed compatible, replacement of the option card is required.
