Yaskawa · E7 Drive
This fault occurs when data written to the EEPROM does not match, often due to power supply being turned OFF unexpectedly or repeated parameter resets. It indicates potential internal data corruption that can prevent proper operation.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Perform a parameter reset to factory defaults (e.g., A1-03 = 2220) and then power cycle the drive (OFF for 30 seconds, then ON).
2. Re-enter all necessary parameters manually after the factory reset. Avoid restoring from a backup if the backup file itself might be corrupt.
3. Monitor the control power supply voltage (e.g., at control board terminals) to the drive for stability using a multimeter, especially during power-up and parameter save operations.
4. If the fault persists after multiple resets and power cycles, the control board or EEPROM chip may be faulty and require replacement.
5. Check for any external electromagnetic interference (EMI) that might affect the control board's operation and EEPROM writes; ensure proper grounding and shielding.
