Yaskawa · GA500 Maintenance and Troubleshooting
This fault indicates an issue with the EEPROM's peripheral circuit or corrupted DriveWorksEZ program data saved to the EEPROM. This can lead to incorrect drive operation or parameter settings and prevent the drive from functioning as intended.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Power cycle the drive and re-attempt DriveWorksEZ program download to the EEPROM.
2. Verify input supply voltage stability at L1, L2, L3 terminals using a multimeter during drive operation.
3. Back up all current drive parameters using DriveWorksEZ software or a parameter unit.
4. Initialize all parameters to factory defaults via parameter A1-03=2220 to clear corrupted settings.
5. Reload the DriveWorksEZ program and drive parameters from a known good backup file.
6. If the fault persists after reinitialization, consider replacing the main control board as the EEPROM may be integrated.
