Yaskawa · GA500 Maintenance and Troubleshooting
This fault indicates that the machine has encountered a mechanical lock or the drive parameters are incorrectly configured for the load. The drive triggers this fault when its output current exceeds the level set in L6-02 for a duration longer than L6-03. Prompt resolution is crucial to prevent mechanical damage to the machine or motor.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Mechanically inspect the driven machine for any jams, blockages, or excessive friction.
2. Increase acceleration time (e.g., C1-01) in small increments to allow smoother ramp-up.
3. Adjust the Overtorque Detect Level (e.g., L6-01) to a value suitable for the application's peak loads.
4. Verify motor rated current (P2-01) and motor rated torque (derived from P2-04, P2-05) parameters are correct.
5. Monitor output current (e.g., U1-04 [Output Current]) during operation to identify peak loads and adjust thresholds accordingly.
6. Perform a mechanical coupling inspection between the motor and load for damage or misalignment.
