High Feedback Fault

What does HFB mean?

The iQpump has detected that the feedback signal level has risen above the programmed threshold (P1-09) and remained above this level for the duration specified in parameter P1-10. This condition triggers a fault, causing the iQpump to coast to a stop for system protection. This fault function is active during running in all operation modes.

Common Causes

  • Feedback signal level rising above the P1-09 (High Feedback Level) threshold.
  • Sustained high feedback level for a period exceeding P1-10 (High Feedback Level Fault Delay Time).
  • Actual high process variable (e.g., system overpressure) in the system.
  • A faulty feedback transducer providing a continuously high signal.
