EEPROM Write Error

What does Err mean?

Data cannot be written to the EEPROM, possibly due to noise corruption during writing or a hardware problem. This indicates an issue with the drive's internal non-volatile memory.

Common Causes

  • Noise has corrupted data while writing to the EEPROM.
  • Hardware problem with the control board.
