An error has occurred in the data stored in the drive's EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory), or the power supply was unexpectedly cut off while parameters were being saved. This can result in corrupted drive settings, incorrect operation, or the drive defaulting to factory settings, posing a risk to consistent machine control.
Click steps to track your progress.
Perform a full power cycle of the drive (turn off main input power for 30 seconds, then reapply) to clear transient errors.
Attempt to reinitialize all parameters to factory defaults (e.g., by setting A1-03 = 2220) and then re-enter settings.
Ensure a stable control power supply to the drive to prevent power dips during parameter save operations.
If parameters were recently modified, revert to a previous backup configuration if available.
Check the drive's event log for power loss events (e.g., 'PF' fault) that coincide with parameter changes.
If the error persists after initialization and parameter entry, the EEPROM or control board is likely faulty.
