A hardware fault related to the PG has been detected, specifically indicating a disconnected PG cable when using a PG-X3 option card. This means the drive is not receiving the necessary encoder feedback signals due to a physical connection issue.
Click steps to track your progress.
Power off the drive, then inspect and firmly reseat the PG-X3 option card into its designated slot on the drive's control board.
Thoroughly check all PG cable connections to the PG-X3 card terminals (e.g., A+, A-, B+, B-, Z+, Z-, 5V, 0V) and to the encoder itself for secure contact and correct polarity.
Measure the voltage supply from the PG-X3 card (e.g., 5VDC or 12VDC) at the encoder connector to ensure sufficient power delivery to the encoder.
If a known good spare PG-X3 option card is available, replace the existing card and retest the drive operation.
Verify proper shielding and grounding of the PG cable to the PG-X3 card and ensure it is routed away from high-current power cables to minimize noise.
