Automatic commutation: overcurrent
Indramat · Indradrive
¿Qué significa F8014 ?
An overcurrent condition occurred in the power section during the automatic commutation procedure. This indicates that the drive commanded or experienced current levels exceeding safe limits while attempting to determine the motor's commutation offset.
Causas comunes
- Short circuit or ground fault in motor windings or cables.
- Incorrect motor parameters configured, leading to excessive current commands.
- Mechanical binding or jam causing the motor to draw very high current.
- Defective power section within the IndraDrive.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Immediately disconnect power and check the motor power cables for short circuits between phases or to ground using a megohmmeter.
- 2
Inspect motor windings for damage or insulation breakdown.
- 3
Verify that motor parameters (e.g., S-0-0010 Motor Nominal Current, S-0-0013 Motor Type) are correctly configured for the connected motor.
- 4
Ensure the motor and connected mechanics are free from binding or mechanical obstruction.
- 5
If cables and motor are clear, the drive's power section may be faulty and require service.
