Position Comparison Check (Encoder 1)
SEW Eurodrive · MOVIDRIVE system
¿Qué significa 13.1 ?
There is a discrepancy between the raw position data and the track counter of absolute Encoder 1, suggesting an internal inconsistency in position tracking. This can lead to incorrect position readings and unstable drive operation. Unresolved, it can cause erratic movements or positioning errors.
Causas comunes
- Intermittent electrical noise on the encoder feedback lines causing discrepancies between raw and processed position data.
- Internal fault or corruption within the encoder's tracking logic, leading to inconsistent position counts.
- Incorrect scaling or resolution settings (e.g., P7-05, P7-06) causing misinterpretation of raw encoder data by the drive.
- Mechanical shock or vibration to the encoder causing internal sensor misalignment or errors in position tracking.
- Degraded components in the drive's encoder interface causing misreading of high-speed position data.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Compare the raw encoder position data (P7-04) with the processed track counter value (P2-01) for sudden jumps or inconsistencies.
- 2
Inspect the encoder cable shielding for proper connection to the drive's ground terminal (SG) and check for continuity (less than 1 Ohm).
- 3
Verify that the numerator (P7-05) and denominator (P7-06) for encoder scaling are correctly configured according to the encoder's resolution.
- 4
Perform a physical inspection of the encoder mounting for looseness or signs of excessive vibration.
- 5
Attempt to re-initialize the encoder's internal position (refer to drive/encoder manual, often involving parameter P7-00).
