A07927

DC braking active

Siemens · DCM

¿Qué significa A07927 ?

The motor is currently being braked using DC current, which is a normal operational state. This alarm appears when a message with a 'DCBRK' response is active, injecting the braking current (p1232) for a duration (p1233) or until the standstill threshold (p1226) is undershot. It can also be activated manually via binector input p1230. This is an informational alarm and does not indicate a fault.

Causas comunes

  • DC braking command activated (e.g., via digital input, PLC command, or internal function) as part of a normal machine stop sequence.
  • Parameter P1230 (DC braking switch on) or P1231 (DC braking switch on for braking ramp) enabled, causing DC braking to engage automatically.
  • Braking current (P1232) or braking time (P1233) configured and actively being injected into the motor windings.
  • A safety function (e.g., STO - Safe Torque Off) or protection function triggering a controlled stop which includes DC braking.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

    1. Verify the active command source for DC braking (e.g., check status of digital input BICO-connected to P1230).

  2. 2

    2. Review parameter P1230 (DC braking switch on) to confirm whether DC braking is enabled by an external signal or automatically.

  3. 3

    3. Check parameter P1231 (DC braking switch on for braking ramp) to see if DC braking is configured for automatic activation after deceleration.

  4. 4

    4. Observe the motor current (r0027) during the 'DC braking active' alarm to confirm DC current injection.

  5. 5

    5. If this alarm is unexpected, investigate the machine's control logic (PLC program) to identify the condition triggering the DC braking command.
