Overspeed

¿Qué significa oS ?

Esta falla señala que el motor está operando a una velocidad excesivamente alta, lo cual puede ser causado por overshoot durante la acceleration/deceleration, configuraciones de pulso incorrectas del PG (Pulse Generator) en el variador, o un nivel de overspeed detection level configurado de manera inapropiada. Un overspeed incontrolado puede llevar a severe mechanical failure, component damage, y potential safety hazards para el personal y el equipo.

• Incorrect encoder feedback pulse setting (ej., parameter P2-01) for the motor's PG.
• Motor mechanical load decoupled (ej., broken belt, shaft shear) leading to motor runaway.
• Aggressive speed control loop tuning (ej., P1-10, P1-11) causing overshoot durante transients.
• External speed command (analog input o fieldbus) exceeding the drive's maximum output frequency.
• PG (Pulse Generator) feedback cable damage o shielding fault causing noisy or erroneous speed signals.

   Verify parameter P2-01 (Pulse Generator Feedback Pulses) matches the actual encoder's PPR (Pulses Per Revolution).

   Inspect motor shaft y mechanical coupling for integrity and ensure load is properly connected.

   Monitor parameter U1-02 (Motor Speed Feedback) to confirm actual rotational speed during acceleration.

   Adjust P1-10 (Proportional Gain) y P1-11 (Integral Gain) in small increments to stabilize the speed control loop.

   Inspect the PG feedback cable connections at terminals S1/S2/S3 (o equivalent) for tightness and shielding effectiveness.
