CPF18

Control Circuit Error

Yaskawa · V1000

¿Qué significa CPF18 ?

This fault indicates a general hardware problem within the drive's control circuit. Such internal issues can prevent the drive from functioning correctly and may lead to complete operational failure. Continued use with this fault can exacerbate internal damage to sensitive electronic components.

Causas comunes

  • Damage to the drive's internal sensor input circuitry (e.g., current transducers, voltage sensors) or their signal conditioning components.
  • Failure of a dedicated motor encoder interface chip or its associated communication lines on the control board.
  • Corrupted motor control algorithm parameters (e.g., P3-01: Motor Type, P3-02: Rated Current) causing calculation errors.
  • Internal voltage regulator instability on the control board, causing fluctuations in power to sensitive logic.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Verify all motor parameters (e.g., P3-01, P3-02, P3-03) are correctly configured according to the motor's nameplate.

  2. 2

Execute a full power down sequence for at least 15 minutes, ensuring all residual energy is discharged.

  3. 3

Visually inspect the control board for any signs of damaged or discolored sensor interface components.

  4. 4

Measure the internal 15VDC or 12VDC auxiliary power rails (if test points are available) that typically supply analog sensor circuits.

  5. 5

Attempt to re-run the auto-tuning sequence (e.g., Parameter P3-10 = 1) if the drive supports it.

  6. 6

If the issue remains, replacement of the control board is recommended.
