414
DC Link Low Voltage
Fanuc · Alpha i series AC Servo Motor
What does 414 mean?
A DC Link Low Voltage Alarm has been issued, indicating that the DC voltage of the main circuit power is too low. This can result from insufficient supply voltage, issues with external contactors, or delayed power-up sequences.
Common Causes
- Delay of 190 ms or longer between cancellation of *ESP signals (built-in DI and I/O link interface) and external magnetic contactor turning on (contactor must activate within 100 ms).
- External circuit breaker is turned off.
- Supply voltage for dynamic power is lower than the rated value.
- External magnetic contactor is not connected properly.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify the operating time of the external magnetic contactor. Ensure it turns on within 100 ms after *ESP signals are canceled.
- 2
Check the status of the external circuit breaker.
- 3
Measure the supply voltage for dynamic power. If too low, increase it to an appropriate level.
- 4
Check the physical connection of the external magnetic contactor.
- 5
If all other steps fail, replace the servo amplifier unit.
