Pulse Error Alarm
Fanuc · Macro B CNC Programming
What does SP0139 mean?
An error occurred in the interpolation circuit of the spindle control. This typically means the spindle's position feedback signals, processed by the interpolation circuit, are inconsistent or incorrect, potentially caused by sensor issues, feedback cable problems, or electrical noise.
Repair Steps
- 1
Inspect the pulsecoder cable (e.g., K22 for SV series, K16/K97 for SP series, pages 243, 295, 297) connecting the spindle sensor to the amplifier for secure connection and physical damage.
- 2
Verify the mechanical integrity and alignment of the spindle sensor, as misalignment or damage can lead to pulse errors.
- 3
Check the machine's environment for excessive electrical noise that might interfere with the pulse signals; ensure signal lines are separated from power lines.
- 4
Perform the output signal check method for the αiCZ sensor (Section 11.2.3.12, page 394) to verify the quality and integrity of the pulse signals.
- 5
If the alarm persists despite these checks, replacement of the spindle sensor or the spindle amplifier (which contains the interpolation circuit) may be necessary.
