What does 443 n AXIS: CNV. COOLING FAN FAILURE mean?
This warning signal on the Fanuc Series 0i-D/0i Mate-D αi servo system indicates a failure of the converter cooling fan. This condition (SVWRN4 and SVWRN3 active) will lead to a converter overheat alarm if not addressed.
Common Causes
- Cooling fan motor failure in the converter unit.
- Obstruction or blockage of the fan's intake or exhaust, reducing cooling efficiency.
- Loose or damaged electrical connection to the converter cooling fan.
