What does 606 n AXIS: CNV. RADIATOR FAN FAILURE mean?
This warning signal on the Fanuc Series 0i-D/0i Mate-D αi servo system indicates a failure of the converter radiator fan. This condition (SVWRN4, SVWRN3, and SVWRN1 active) will eventually result in a converter overheat alarm if the cooling issue is not resolved.
Common Causes
- Failure of the cooling fan responsible for the converter's radiator.
- Accumulation of dust or debris on the radiator fins or fan blades, impeding airflow.
- Poor electrical connection or power supply to the radiator fan.
