High Input String Voltage to Ground
Huawei · SUN2000 Solar Inverter
What does 2014 mean?
The voltage between the input PV string and the ground is abnormal, posing a risk of power attenuation. This Major alarm can be related to PID compensation settings, device faults, or inconsistent compensation directions between the solar inverter and any PID device.
Common Causes
- The voltage between the input PV string and the ground is abnormal, and there is a risk of power attenuation.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
If no PID compensation device exists in the system, disable the PID protection function at night.
- 2
If a PID compensation device exists in the system, check whether it is faulty. Rectify the fault if present.
- 3
Check whether the settings of compensation direction for the solar inverter and the PID device are consistent. Adjust to be consistent based on the PV module model (e.g., if PV– is set to positive offset, voltage between solar inverter PV– and ground should be > 0 V).
