Generator Current Limit/Deceleration Ramp Supervision

Kone · CMXC-022 Frequency Control Upgrade Kit

What does 56 mean?

The R&M Materials Handling Frequency Converter is unable to stop the motor within the configured deceleration ramp due to excessive regenerative current. This fault typically occurs when the motor's kinetic energy during deceleration exceeds the drive's capacity to dissipate it or the braking resistor capacity.

Common Causes

  • Inverter cannot stop the motor with the current deceleration ramp stretching settings
