Speed difference
Kone · CMXC-022 Frequency Control Upgrade Kit
What does 62 mean?
A significant speed difference has been detected between expected and actual motor speed, or between different speed feedback channels, by the R&M Materials Handling Frequency Converter. This can be caused by mechanical failures, issues with load measurement, or problems with encoder signals (ENC1A, ENC2A-B) including incorrect wiring.
Common Causes
- Speed difference detected
- Load measured too low when using ESR (Energy Saving Regulation)
- Mechanical failure, e.g., in the gear system
- Interference or missing signal in ENC1A
- Sensor channels ENC2A-B connected incorrectly
- Interference or missing signal in ENC2A-B
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check the supply voltage
- 2
Verify the load measurement operation and calibration
- 3
Check hoist operation without any load applied
- 4
Check the sensor cable grounding and inverter PE- connections
- 5
Check or replace the speed sensor connected to ENC1A
- 6
Swap the connections between ENC2A and ENC2B
