VACC NOT OK
Kone · Elevator Control
What does 1078 mean?
The motor controller (codes 1078, 2078, 3078) has detected that the accessory voltage (VACC) is not within acceptable limits. This indicates a problem with the auxiliary power supply. The specific lift reaction is controller dependent.
Common Causes
- Auxiliary power supply fault (e.g., overvoltage, undervoltage).
- Short circuit on an accessory output drawing excessive current.
- Internal power supply regulation fault within the controller.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify the main input voltage supply to the auxiliary power supply unit for proper phase and magnitude.
- 2
Measure the VACC output voltage from the auxiliary power supply at the motor controller's VACC input terminals.
- 3
Inspect all wiring and connections between the auxiliary power supply unit and the motor controller for damage, looseness, or corrosion.
- 4
Check relevant diagnostic parameters within the Kone elevator control system for any additional fault details or specific VACC threshold settings.
