Protection against Slippage
Kone · Frequency Inverter
What does 20 mean?
This fault occurs when the leveling switch fails to function during elevator travel, excluding inspection service, beyond the delay period set by parameter F62. It signifies that the lift has moved outside the leveling zone for an extended duration without corrective action.
Common Causes
- Malfunction or failure of the leveling switch during normal lift operation.
- The lift travels past the leveling zone for a duration exceeding the delay configured in parameter F62.
- Incorrect setting of parameter F62, leading to insufficient time for leveling correction.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Inspect the leveling switch for physical damage, misalignment, or contamination.
- 2
Verify the electrical connections and proper functioning of the leveling switch, ensuring it switches state correctly.
- 3
Check the setting of parameter F62 (slippage protection delay) and adjust if it is too short for the lift's operational characteristics.
