IxT overload error, KPP/KSP (axis)
Kuka · KR C4 extended
What does 26104 mean?
This fault indicates that an axis is overloaded, leading to the mean continuous current being too high. It can occur during start-up due to excessive program load or during operation due to system modifications, temperature influences, or excessive power demand. The risk is potential damage to the KPP/KSP power units or the axis motor due to sustained high current.
Common Causes
- Excessive load in the program during start-up.
- System modifications leading to increased load during operation.
- Temperature influences affecting motor or drive performance.
- Excessive power demand from the axis.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Reinitialize the drive bus: Power Off / Power On.
- 2
Check the machine for mechanical issues causing high load.
- 3
Check trace recording of axis current to identify load patterns.
- 4
Adapt program velocity to reduce instantaneous load.
- 5
Check CBS pressure (if applicable to the machine configuration).
- 6
Check gear unit for excessive friction or damage.
