Timeout - Device Not Reacting

Kuka · KR C4 PROFIBUS

What does -3 mean?

The device did not respond within the allocated timeout period (default 2 seconds) during a coupling or decoupling operation. This indicates a communication issue or the device being physically unavailable.

Repair Steps

  1. 1

Check if the device is physically connected to the PROFIBUS line.

  2. 2

Verify the device's power supply voltage.

  3. 3

Increase the timeout time for device activation using the `ioCtl("SYS-X44_PB-Master1", &H8008, [timeout_ms])` command, specifying the timeout in milliseconds.
