STAS2 Flashing
Safety Node B Internal Fault
Kuka · Sunrise Cabinet Med Controller
What does STAS2 Flashing mean?
The STAS2 (Safety node B) Orange LED is flashing at a rate other than 1 Hz (normal) or 10 Hz (boot phase), indicating an internal fault code within Safety Node B. This suggests a problem with the internal logic, communication, or processing of this safety node, potentially affecting safety chain integrity and preventing safe operation.
Repair Steps
- 1
Check cabling at connectors X309, X310, and X312 for proper connection, integrity, and any signs of damage.
- 2
For test purposes, disconnect the cables at X309, X310, and X312, then switch the controller off and back on again to reset the module.
- 3
If the error recurs after checking cabling and power cycling, exchange the CCU_SR module.
