PR2 (Checksum error in parameter set 2)
Lenze · 9300 Series
What does 0073 mean?
A checksum error has been detected in parameter set 2. This fault can arise from issues during parameter set loading, interruption during transfer via keypad, or incompatibility between stored parameters and the loaded software version.
Common Causes
- Power interruption or communication timeout during the saving or loading of parameter set 2.
- Incompatible parameter set 2 file being loaded from a different drive model or firmware version.
- Degradation or fault in the drive's internal non-volatile memory sector assigned to parameter set 2.
- Incorrect or corrupted parameter backup file used for restoring parameter set 2 to the drive.
- User attempting to switch to parameter set 2 (e.g., via P0-95) when the set is incomplete or corrupt.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
1. Re-upload parameter set 2 from a known good backup file using the drive's configuration software.
- 2
2. Verify the drive's firmware version and ensure the parameter set 2 file originates from a compatible drive and firmware.
- 3
3. Perform a drive factory reset (e.g., P0-99 = 1) to clear memory, then carefully reload all parameters, including set 2.
- 4
4. Check the parameter switch control (P0-95) to ensure it is not attempting to activate a corrupt set 2.
- 5
5. If the issue persists, consider replacing the drive's control board as it may indicate a memory fault.
